Dyson Vacuum Cleaners – Why Choose to Purchase a Dyson?

Dyson Vacuum Cleaners – Why Choose to Purchase a Dyson?

Dyson Vacuum Cleaners – Why Choose to Purchase a Dyson?

Posted: 28 Mar 2011 07:40 AM PDT

Dyson vacuum cleaners have revolutionized the vacuum market with their powerful suction and ‘Ball‘ technology. Everyone needs to clean their homes and ensuring that you can do it quickly and efficiently is essential. Although you know you have to vacuum your home, you want to be able to do it in the quickest time possible so you can do other things you might enjoy more.

There are many different brands of vacuum cleaners available to buy and which one you choose is up to personal taste and budget. The vacuum cleaner range that Dyson offers gives amazing technology at an affordable price.

The Dyson vacuum was the first dual cyclone cleaner to be on the market, and was invented by James Dyson. He wanted to invent a vacuum cleaner that didn’t lose suction like other cleaners and continued to work well on all surfaces. The concept with other cleaners meant that as the bags began to fill they would lose suction and begin to not clean as well. Leaving your home still dirty, they would clog easily and cost you a great deal in bags. Dyson vacuum cleaners use no bags and can be emptied easily with no extra cost to you.

Dyson vacuum cleaners are also more durable than other types of cleaners as they are made from the same material as a crash helmet. They are now available in many different designs including ones for pet hair and specially formulated ones for allergy sufferers. All of the designs come with many different attachments and accessories allowing you to clean the furniture and those other hard to reach places.

The Dyson is considered to be the most effective upright vacuum cleaner available and has specially created HEPA filters that will last a lifetime. These filters have been approved by the leading allergy experts as they capture and store the harmful particles which cause allergies in people.

The technology in the Dyson vacuum enables it to be the leading brand in this field because it has patented technology which is called Root Cyclone. This allows the air to spin at a very high speed resulting in the very strong, consistent suction, making your vacuum cleaner the most effective there is. It works with a three step process. First all the dust which has been gathered goes through a filtration system. This dust is then sent to the bin. The larger pieces of dust are caught in this area and the shroud then separates the fluff and hair as it is then spun at a high speed. This technology prevents the clogging you normally experience in your old style vacuum cleaners. Once you have finished then you simply remove the bin and empty it making it ready for the next use.

Which Dyson you choose will depend on your home and your needs. Some people prefer upright vacuums and others like the convenience of other models. Whichever one you decide on, they all come with a year guarantee and a further three years parts guarantee. You can also contact their customer service team if you have any problems or issues. These dedicated teams are available to help you with any issues or parts inquiries. You know that when you buy a Dyson vacuum cleaner, you are buying the best there is available.

Before you buy a new Dyson Vacuum Cleaner, you should research thoroughly what model would be best for your home. You can rely on http://www.1stchoicevacuums.com to provide you with more detailed reviews of the different types and models of Dyson Vacuums that are available.

The Best Vacuum for Pet Owners: The Dyson DC15 Animal

The Best Vacuum for Pet Owners: The Dyson DC15 Animal

The Best Vacuum for Pet Owners: The Dyson DC15 Animal

One of the biggest problems for pet owners is pet hair. If your pet sheds, you know all too well how their hair can get on and into just about anything, and can be quite difficult to remove completely from upholstery and carpeting. Realizing the market potential in pet hair cleanup, many popular vacuum manufacturers have created vacuums specially designed for this purpose. Bissell and Hoover each have a so-called pet vacuum that is designed to forcefully remove that stubborn embedded pet hair. However, it is a new vacuum by the revolutionary vacuum company, Dyson, which gets top honors for pet hair removal ability.

The DC15 “The Ball” Animal vacuum is one of the best selling vacuums by Dyson. Dyson vacuums are naturally efficient at sucking up dust and debris thanks to its never-clogging root cyclone technology. In short, the vacuum spins the incoming dirty air so fast that particles are literally thrown out of the air and into a collecting bin. The incoming wind tunnel never gets clogged with debris, so the vacuum does not lose suction. The result is astonishingly powerful suction that is capable of removing nearly everything from carpeting and other surfaces.

Added to the DC15 Animal’s raw suction power, is the vacuums special add-on attachment: the mini turbine head. The mini turbine head is specially designed to lift pet hair off of upholstery and carpeting. You know that pet hair on your couch you just can’t seem to get rid of? The mini turbine head makes short order of it. In addition to the mini turbine head, the vacuum is one of the few that comes with a special carpet care kit. The powder and liquid spray is great for getting out a variety of carpet stains, including those wonderful pet-related blemishes.

The DC15 is called “the ball” because of a very unique design feature: the vacuum maneuvers around on a single large ball at the base of the vacuum, rather than on typical wheels. The result is easier and better controlled twisting and turning around furniture and in tight spaces. The motor of the vacuum is actually located inside the ball, giving the vacuum a sturdy, low center of gravity.

As you can see, the Dyson DC15 Animal is the best bet when it comes to vacuums for pet owners. Despite it’s hefty price tag (around $500), most would agree that it is well worth the money.

Selecting the best vacuum cleaner is much like selecting the best show dog. Appearance, amount of care, obedience, and human interaction are characteristics that fit both best in show and best vacuum cleaner. So let’s take a look at some of the most popular vacuums you’ll find anywhere online.

The Dyson DC25 Ball All-Floors Upright Vacuum Cleaner certainly is a contender for this coveted award. The ball technology that makes turning and cleaning around objects receives high praise from product reviewers.

Environmental friendliness is increasingly sought in vacuum. The Dyson DC25 certainly meets this demand. The HEPA filter is washable and made to function well throughout the life of one of the best vacuum cleaners made. Improved technology prevents clogs in materials vacuumed up and eliminates the need to manually remove those clogs and other materials.

Companions of cats and other shedding animals will appreciate the ability to shift to a setting that removes those difficult to clean pet hair areas on carpets, making both Tabby and the family happy.

One can only describe one reviewer as a whirling dervish! She described using every attachment, cleaning every corner down to the most minute and making every adjustment available with the DC25. There is no doubt that this review votes her Dyson DC25 best in class and best vacuum cleaner.

The Hoover Tempo Widepath Upright Vacuum, Bagged, U5140-900 is certainly considered the best vacuum cleaner by many pet owners who, in their pre-Hoover days, struggled to pick up the vast majority of pet hair they encountered during each weekly cleaning. Several of those who purchased this U5140-900 have shared that they take the vacuum out several times a week simply to freshen carpets often used by their pets.

Performance for a reasonable price was mentioned by several consumers who purchased this product and consider it the best vacuum cleaner that they have owned. The Hoover name was their initial reason for considering this vacuum and the reliability and easy use are they reasons they hope to have the DC25 for years to come.

In an entirely different category is the Electrolux EL 7020B Oxy3 Ultra Canister Vacuum. This amazing vacuum is compact, has an incredible HEPPA filter, and fits spaces one might not expect it to fit. All floors and floor coverings are easily managed with ‘this is the best vacuum cleaner I’ve ever purchased.”

One of the only negative comments regarding one of the best vacuum cleaners, was that the “change bag” light did not light when a bag was quite full. Choosing the correct vacuum cleaner can be a tough job, but think of your requirements and check the features the cleaner has to offer and then choosing the correct one will be much easier.

There are several factors for selecting a vacuum cleaner based on the user’s preferences. There are three ways of selecting which would typically reveal the true performance and real value of the cleaner, namely based on features, value (price), and on consumer reviews.

One of the best priced vacuum cleaners would be the Hoover U5140-900 Wide Path, priced at around $70, is a bagged upright model that holds on its own. Moreover the wide path system makes the cleaning of floors and carpets easier.

Hoover U5507-900 Elite Auto Rewind is a bag-less one, with seven height adjustment settings, HEPA filtration system, and the air flow indicator, this model of Hoover vacuum cleaner is made for modest budget without sacrificing basic quality. The stretch hose system is a special feature of the Hoovers is well known for its user friendliness and easy reach. I would personally prefer this model for sheer convenience.

Bissell 2080 Quick Steamer Power Brush is one of the favorites among public, because of its easy steam cleaning which is effective and financially viable. It gets my vote too in terms of being a low cost high quality machine.

I have also noticed that the Dyson DC17 is also one of the best vacuum cleaners as rated by consumers. Its allergy and asthma certified HEPA filters and powerful suction can grab pet hairs also from deep within carpets and furniture. Thus it has become a favorite for the pet owners.

Going for the high end consumers, where price affordability is not a factor, there can be few more options from both Hoover and Dyson.

Dyson DC25 All Floors comes for $450, and from the name itself it can be said that the cleaner works fine over carpet and any type of floors as well. Although expensive the machine’s performance is worth the money. It weighs 16 pounds but as it is mounted on a rolling ball it is easy to move it. This is probably the best vacuum cleaner to go for.

Hoover Platinum Bagged Upright with Canister UH30010COM it’s the lightest, weighing 13 pounds and it’s easy to carry it up and down the stairs. But the separate mini-canister vacuum which is required for cleaning other areas except carpet harms its handy reputation. It is priced at $240. Though I have personally not used it, friends are happy with its performance.

Bissell CleanView Helix Delux 21K3 priced at $100 is a bag-less vacuum cleaner which collects dust in a separate removable bin; this saves you from buying and replacing new bags.

Thus, I would say that you must match your requirements with the features available in the models and then decide which vacuum cleaner to go for.

If you need help with keeping you home of office clean, there are quite a few companies you can find on the internet that offer cleaning services.

Dyson Slim – Only the Size is Slim, Not the Performance

Dyson Slim – Only the Size is Slim, Not the Performance

Dyson Slim – Only the Size is Slim, Not the Performance

Posted: 22 Mar 2011 09:40 AM PDT

The Dyson Slim model DC 18 is an all purpose upright bagless vacuum cleaner. If you are able to find one, choose carefully. Dyson has discontinued this model.

As for performance, this vacuum works well on both carpeted surfaces and hard wood floors. The consistent suction is reliable and because it is so light weight, maneuverability is excellent. The on/off switch for the brush prevents dust clouds from being created on low surfaces and reduces the chances of the surfaces from being scratched. The maneuverability is enhanced with the ball hinge, so many of the new Dyson models now have incorporated it into them.

This is light weight model comes in at a mere 15.7 pounds, but that does not hamper the suction power that is great for picking up pet hair. The motor is rated at 1200 watts that does produce a sound, and at 83 decibels, that can be noisy. The bagless cyclonic system does work great but the maximum volume before emptying the container is 1.7 liters.

This system does have a great filtration system that utilizes a HEPA filter to minimize any dust that might escape from the device. This is advantageous for allergy sufferers.

There is only one power setting, so variable control is not possible. The telescopic hose allows easy access to those hard to reach places, but the attachments have a great deal to be desired.

The Dyson slim model DC 18 is a powerful lightweight vacuum, but what is on the store shelves is all there are of them left.

There are so many choices out there when it come to selecting a great vacuum cleaner. Many people just buy vacuum cleaners without knowing the first thing about them, and end up paying way to much. Don’t make a mistake and invest in the wrong vacuum cleaner for your family. Find the best type of vacuum on the internet at http://www.bestvacuumdeal.com.

A Brief But Interesting History of the Home Vacuum Cleaner

A Brief But Interesting History of the Home Vacuum Cleaner

A Brief But Interesting History of the Home Vacuum Cleaner

Posted: 21 Mar 2011 04:20 AM PDT

These days, vacuum cleaners are a common tool in any home cleaning toolbox, however this has not always been the case. In the recent past, cleaning was a task performed with the help of a lot more primitive devices, like the reliable sweeping brush or broom. And while these tools were surely of enormous worth to the home cleaner who had nothing else to use, we certainly have made great advances since then, and, in a few ways, have come almost full circle.

It was the Industrial Revolution which set the cleaning world alight. Before that period, the sweeping brush had been king, and actually, this was likely quite sufficient. But though the presence of heavy dust and grime increased during the revolution, as the cities in which the majority lived became covered in soot and other commercial by-products, the dust which was created was really not enough reason for housewives to become the queens of sanitation they actually did.

Around this time, however, a huge propaganda campaign was launched that worried people with its prophecies. Overall health as well as lives were in mortal danger if dust was not controlled, and cleaning goods of all types exhibited a tremendous jump in sales.

It was against this backdrop that the early vacuum cleaner was invented. Introduced in Chicago in 1865, this hand pumped device lead the way in vacuum development.

Followed by a number of comparable products, the design became increasingly more intricate as the years progressed, with the vacuums growing progressively more complex and multifunctional, being used as sideboards, among other things. However, needing 2 people to operate it, this type of machine was less than user friendly.

The inexpensive availability of electrical power opened brand new doors in vacuum development. Emerging just after the turn of the 20th century, the electric powered vacuum cleaners, manufactured by brands such as Hoover, made housework a lot easier for millions. By using a fan engine and a pillow case as a dust collector, a man known as Spangler started a trend. Soon after, William H. Hoover started his company, and the rest, as they say, is history.
